My first 13 years of teaching were based in Guernsey, Channel Islands where I was primarily a coordinator of Physical Education and part of a leadership team.
I moved to New Zealand in 2008 and enjoyed being a team leader in Auckland for four years. Then the opportunity came to move to Queenstown and I was part of the transition to a modern learning environment at Arrowtown School.
My passion has always been based around teaching and learning. I have embraced the opportunity to allow children to self-direct their learning and work towards an authentic purpose. I am extremely excited to be working with the Shotover team and community.
I have wonderful family with three energetic boys who love to ski, play soccer and mountain bike in this beautiful part of the country. I do my best to keep up with them and particularly enjoy soccer, running and snowboarding.
