Hello, my name is Roanna Robinson and I am very excited to be part of Shotover Primary School.
I grew up in Invercargill and moved to Christchurch to study teaching. I lived in Wellington and taught a year 3 and 4 class before moving back to the South Island and making Queenstown my home. Previous to teaching I completed a Sport and Exercise Degree. I am a very keen sports person and incorporate exercise and health into my teaching. I try to make my classroom as active as possible and teach in a hands-on, interactive way.
Outside of school I enjoy running and being outdoors. I also love painting, cooking and baking, especially making cupcakes and cake pops! I am a very creative person and am always trying to make my lessons exciting and different.
I value family involvement in children’s learning, and you‘re always welcome in the classroom for a visit or to discuss your child’s progress. I am very approachable and look forward to getting to know all my students' families.
