John will be working with the children in Hays during the afternoon and running a session for parents in the evening. This will be a very helpful session for parents navigating the digital world and what this looks like for children and adults alike.

Nau mai Haere mai ki te hui a whanau –
As we approach the end of our second year, we would like to extend an invitation to our Maori whanau to discuss Shotover School’s state of play and to brainstorm some ideas for 2017. The meeting will take place in the staffroom and library on the 17th of November, getting underway at 5:00 pm with a barbecue.
During our korero we wish to:
begin evaluate the establishment of our Kapa Haka group and next steps
have a general chat about te reo and ti kanga at our school
Share some kai
Receive feedback about what is successful and how we can improve.
discuss the achievement and progress of our maori children.
Korero will begin around 6pm. Please bring a salad to share and your own meat. Parents are welcome to bring their children. We will bring some gear to entertain children during the korero. Could you please indicate if you are attending and how many other whanau members will be present by completing the form on this link.
